Shira asked me to take the Briggs-Myers personality test tonight. I've taken it before, and I scored the same tonight as I did before: INTP. What is a bit disconcerting is how accurate this description is of my personality; it makes me feel a bit shallow that a 5 minute test can reveal things to my wife that hadn't previously made sense to her after 11 years of marriage.

Shira is with her mom at the Jane Austen Society annual meeting in Ft. Worth. Afterwards, she's going to Tulsa to visit Randy, a close friend of hers from college.
Meanwhile, my friend Bill is in town for a conference. We had dinner together last night. He's staying a couple of days after the conference ends, so I'm on vacation Monday and Tuesday to hang out with him.

I spent a few hours re-designing this website. I just used a stock template from WYSIWYG Web Builder; I don't really have any interest in learning HTML or Website design.
If I updated this blog frequently, I would use a dedicated blogging tool, or get an account on a blogging site; but past experience shows that I'll be lucky to update this once a month, so this should be good enough.
